Washing instructions for durable sportswear

Proper washing not only protects the environment, but also extends the life of your road cycling clothing. Often, your products don't need to be washed after every ride. In this article, we give you valuable tips on how to care for your road cycling clothing so that you can enjoy your equipment for a long time.

What should I bear in mind when washing my bib shorts and road bike jerseys?

Although our bib shorts are made of high-quality Lycra and our road bike jerseys are made of robust polyamide, we recommend that you do not spin-dry either bib shorts or jerseys. Frequent spinning can damage the reflective heat transfers and the materials in the long term. It is therefore advisable to air out your road cycling clothing regularly and not to wash it after every ride.

At what temperature should I wash my bib shorts?

In most cases, washing the bib short at 30 degrees is completely sufficient. This not only reduces energy consumption, but also protects the fibres. If you want to wash your trousers, we recommend doing so immediately after use. All bacteria are removed at 30-40 degrees. The colder the water, the gentler it is on the materials.
